Ever needed a quick way to resize one or 100 pictures without a lot of effort? Here's one way free and easy way to do it.
If you don't have Windows XP, this tip will not work for you. Now that we've got that out of the way, let's move on.
First, download the Windows XP Powertoys Image Resizer (imageresizer.exe) and install it. You can view a video of the install procedure here: http://www.screencast.com/t/EF6QpeUHF
Note that this video shows a reinstall, so your process will be slightly different.
Image Resizer will install a new menu option in your right click menu that is visible each time you click on an image file format that Image Resizer supports (such as .JPG).

To use the tool, simply right click on the file (or a group of files) and click Resize Picture. Now select the size image you want and click the "Ok" button. Image Resizer will now create a duplicate version of your image and resize it to the length and width you specified while also reducing the file size significantly.

If you prefer to resize the original image, you can choose that option in the Advanced settings.

Here is a screencast showing how to resize multiple pictures at one time using Image Resizer.
